Oh man, *love* byron bay - if you haven't already, try and go to the funky pighouse cinema - they have leopardskin beds instead of seats and it's cheap :)

Wow so that was China eh? Big place! Heard you are changing your plans a little, it will be good to see you! I'm soooooo jealous you are in Tibet now! Hopefully after the altitude adjustment the beautiful atmosphere will rejuvenate you. Check out the amazing Buddist artwork and try to take time for yourself to chill and reflect before you travel home (with my pressies of course!!)

That brings back great memories of China for me. The terracota army totally took my breath away. I never realised the sheer scale! The forbiden city and the summer palace were eye opening and a train journey to the winter palace at Chendre(?) was an experience

Hello you, I'm glad you have met up with Cathy and Pete now, perhaps you won't be so lonely. Be careful you don't fall in the water when you get your ferry!!! I've heard that Hong Kong is full of pickpockets so be careful.
Dad had to go for his pre-op check up today. Everything was going o.k. until they took a pin prick of blood, it came up too high!!! They have now said that he might not be able to go in as a day patient and will have to wait for a bed to stay in overnight (nothing ever goes right does it). It all depends on the anaethetist next week when he sees all the blood results. He shouldn't have had cheerios, marmalade on toast and grapes for his breakfast, serves him right although he will probably enjoy the rest!!! At least I will have the bed to myself. It's just that I had that week planned, they have asked me to work 2 extra days the last 2 weeks in August, I bet they call him in just before Xmas - he then has to take it easy for 6 weeks (help!!). Good job you will be home by then to put up decs. Jules still hasn't slept in your room since you left. He only had a 'catnap' the first day or so, he hasn't been near your room since, I do think he is missing you.
You will have to buy some cheap shorts and a book (if you need reading time that is). How long are the train journeys and when will you be on the WALL? The weather here said that a few parts of China have been flooded and about 400 people have been killed, are you anywhere near those areas? I think the bad weather is following you or you are following it.
When do you get the rest of your money from the solicitors? or don't you?
I don't know whether this will reach you because I don't know what /SiteUrl: means.
Should I have sent this by ordinary e-mail?
The weather has been glorious today we are also in for a nice week-end, typical when I have to clean Nanny's flat.
Nanny is o.k. She looks well and eating plenty!!
Dad and I bought her a new t.v. today (with her money of course). It is a silver 17" flat screen. It is all tuned in so should be o.k. in her place. My kitchen one worked o.k. for her so this one should do.
Had to have my car MOT this week. It failed. Needed 2 new tyres and new windscreen wipers - £163. later it passed!!
Sara started your car up o.k. but I couldn't get the bike to start so I am going to get Jason up here to see to it for me.
Anyway, I am signing off now, I can type quicker than I can text .........

Glad to hear you are getting out and seeing some of Tokyo...don't worry about getting lost, their train stations are so sprawling there are like another city in and of themselves, anyone would get lost!

I finished work today...it was sadder than I thought it would be actually. You should have been there, you might have actually seem me nearly cry! I can't believe I will never go back through those doors again...I hope some people stay in touch. I managed to get away without giving in my pass tho, which is cool cause I wanted it as a momento....sad I know!

So yep, friday in HK it is! I believe our plane is scheduled to get in at 16.45 your time. What with getting luggage, navigating the bus route etc hopefully we will get to the hotel for 6/7ish...not sure how far it is from the airport. I will ask for you when I get to the hotel, so maybe you could tell front desk that it is ok for them to tell me what room you are in when I arrive. In case you don't recognise me, I now have black hair!!

See you v soon, scout out some good places in HK for us to go before we arrive! I wana go up the peak and on the boat I think, but we shall have to see...

Don't worry about the crystal - they have a habit of going to where they are needed on the earth, (perhaps Hiroshima did get my love!) They don't "belong" to us we only borrow them as they will long outlive us!
You must have fantastic leg muscles by now, altho I'm doubtful your beautiful singing voice has improved (haha) so keep practising - loudly!!

Sounds like you're getting into the spirit of things - didn't realise you were into karaoke!
