It's been a while since I last posted a blog so I apologise coz I know you're all eager to read what I've been up to??!! lol

Well, we did the snorkelling in Krabi on Sunday 21st and I got to see nemo - he was so cute.  Unfortunately I got nipped by a couple of the little blighters (neon type fishes!) which I wasn't expecting but then again I am tasty?!  We also did the island hopping and saw the beach where the film 'The Beach' was filmed - an awesome sight.  That evening we went out and I seemed to have drank the whole bar - vodka, bacardi, southern comfort, rum and whisky so I kinda woke up with a bit of a hangover yet again! Oops

On the Monday we did the horseriding which was ok - let's just say I never even got beyond trotting...not me - the horse!!

We left Ao Nang on Tuesday and crossed the border from Thailand to Malaysia and made our way to Penang.  However, about 20km from the island our driver decided that he'd scare the life out of us and fall asleep at the wheel - yup we didn't realise this until we gently bumped into a moped driving alongside us!!  Just as it was about to happen I shouted "whoaaaa whoaaaa" at him and grabbed the wheel and basically I avoided a fatal accident - I saved the day! lol.  Less than 10 minutes later the police pulled us over and told our driver off and he was fined but we don't know whether this was because of what happened or whether he was speeding but he woke up pretty sharply after all of that!

Wednesday we did a whistlestop tour of Penang - to be quite honest there really wasn't much there of importance and the one thing I did want to see which was a massive statue was surrounded by scaffolding so that was that....plus it rained!!

Thursday we went onto the Cameron Highlands - oh yay that was fun!  I had the option of going to the tea plantations the following day but I decided to stay in bed instead....what a shame!

Friday afternoon we left for Kuala Lumpur and that evening we made our way into the city centre and our tour leader told us not to look at the famous Petronas Towers until we'd reached a specific place - we didn't either!  When we could look round the sight took my breath away - those towers are magnificent.  They were illuminated as it was getting dark and I can honestly say that that building topped the Empire State Building....quite literally!

Saturday we did a bit of sight-seeing like visiting the National Mosque and finding out about Islam first hand which was quite interesting and then onto the Menara tower to see the view over KL.  After that we stopped at Medaka square and had a picnic.  On the way back to the hotel we came across a few signs such as covent garden and the london tube sign and also an old BT telephone box so I thought it looked a little out of place so I jumped in it and asked one of the girls to take a photo of me...little did we realise that it was a prop for a commercial they were shooting and they shouted at us to move along...oops!  It was hilarious though!

That evening a few of us girls went to the Sky Bar for an expensive drink just so that we could see the night time view over KL - it was worth it though!  We came back and then went to a bar where i drank a little bit of vodka...ok it was a lot...yep had a headache the next day!  I blame those lot though - they were a bad influence on me!? lol

We arrived in Melaka on Sunday 28th and did a little tour of the town...again not much there!

We arrived in Singapore Monday and headed out to find the 'Long Bar' home of the famous Singapore Sling cocktail, unfortunately it was an anti-climax - we walked in and out.  That evening we had our last meal of the tour and afterwards bought some vodka (pressurised again!) and headed for Clarke Quay and sat along the river and had a few drinks.

Tuesday (no hangover) Sara, myself and a couple of others went to Changi prison/museum where a lot of POWs were held etc.  In the evening we met up with a few of the others from the tour and had some dinner and onto a cinema where we watched Rendition (a good film I'd recommend it).

Yesterday we went to Sentosa island which is like a massive entertainment island complex and went into a simulator and also did the luge which was fun.  And then we watched a dolphin show where if you pay a little bit more you can stroke the dolphin and have a picture taken - yep Sara and I did that! hee hee.  Last night we decided to eat at Hooters and I ate two nice juicy sirloin steaks - cor yummy and then we were entertained by the hooters' girls with a little dance - nice little ...err....movers!! lol

And now it's Thursday and here I am - waiting to leave for the airport for my flight home to blighty Britain...oh yay!  I've ordered a nice roast lamb dinner for tomorrow night as I land at like 7.30am tomorrow morning UK time.  I'm already planning my next lot of travels....S.America, NZ and Oz here I come!

See you all very soon my lovelies xxx

P.S. I told you it would be condensed! lol
